STEP2 THREE IMAGES

A.

This is my first time when I understand the perspective sketches and then draw a car which is like driving out the paper. After that I knew the important of perspective when drawing or designing a 3 dimensional work. Not only the whole building, but also the specific sections like doors, windows, stairs or columns, the purpose that they should look like the real parts is realized by perspective.

B.

This building's name is The Gate of Orient, which would be the new landmark building of Suzhou, China. Once the architectural images had been published, it become highly controversial. Because generally, it looks like a pair of jeans and even with shoes. Most of the citizens think this modelling cannot be understand. Moreover, lots of them even feel this is ridiculous and can be laughed at for years and years, just like a negative example of architecture design.

According to that this building is the landmark located at a very important place and is designed by some famous architects, I am trying to find some highlights. To ignore the "jeans" sayings, it can be seen like a door, the door of the city and even of China, which is the original intention. Compare to the other twins buildings, these two are connected at top and also have the stable "shoes's shape" bases. Because it is located at the end of Suzhou's CBD and the bank of Gold Chicken Lake, it can be sold in an ideal price. However, to be honest, I think this building is such funny as what most others thought. Hopefully when this building will been completed this year and then bring surprises which are contrary to expectation.

C.

This picture shows a small city called Taierzhuang in north-east China. However, people who realized China a lot would consider this must be somewhere in south China like Suzhou or Hangzhou. The reason caused this illusion is that the architecture is chosen to built the south-style village, the arch bridge, the river and the green weeping willow. All of those elements could reflect a south China's scenery.
